Earlier this semester I was awarded the Garrison Social Justice Scholarship at Vanderbilt Law School and I could not be more excited for the opportunities that this scholarship presents! Not only will I have the chance to pursue summer public interest internships with the generous stipends the scholarship provides, I will also have the chance to be mentored by the Social Justice faculty at the law school and deepen my focus on social justice-oriented classes. I am so thankful to the law school and particularly the faculty and staff who reviewed my application. I’m looking forward to the next two years of my law school experience and leveraging this scholarship to pursue a career in public interest in the South after I graduate!
